Made in the 1890’s and have never been used! Each iron has an inch big number on a long metal rod set into a hardwood handle. The Swiss military numbered their mules and horses for easy inventory control. Enclosed within the wooden chest are log books measuring tape, crayons etc. Everything for keeping track of the stock. Measures 19½”W x 9”D x 13¾”T. New Unissued with some storage wear. A true collectible piece of military history.
