A heavy-duty first aid kit compiled to treat cuts and scrapes, sprains, insect bites of campers and hikers in remote areas. Organized by injury type with instructions. Includes forceps for removing splinters or ticks, anesthetic and antiseptic wipes, two-inch elastic bandage with Velcro®-closure, triple antibiotic ointment, sterile gauze dressings, conforming gauze wrap, butterfly closures and 10 yards of ½" tape. Medications include antihistamine, ibuprofen, acetominophen and aspirin. Also includes a liquid-filled button compass, a mini-rescue howler whistle and survival instructions. Everything is inside a rugged nylon case with water-resistant zipper closure and inventory list on the outside. Measures 5"L x 2"W x 7"H. Weighs .48 lbs.
