Frank Centofante is a revered and respected knife craftsman. Collaborating on knife designs with him is something Spyderco has been fortunate enough to do several times. The Centofante 3 has a thin-profiled, lightweight FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle with a Palladium silver Spyderco bug inlayed into its surface. Two channels are furrowed out of the handle for better grip. For convenience and improved security, the back-lock is positioned at the midpoint of the blade's spine, with a Boye dent cut from the locking lever The VG-10 blade has both a hollow-grind and swedge-grind with non-sharpened spine serrations (jimping) to hold the thumb steady when cutting. The new four-way black steel pocket clip design allows for tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed carry. Overall measures 7¾" Blade measures 3¼". Weighs .22 lbs.
