Description

SS Catalina Life Jackets - Extremely Limited Supply

A rare piece of California history! Built by William Wrigley in 1924 at a cost of one million dollars, the SS Catalina, also known to Southern Californians as the "Great White Steamer", transported passengers to the island of Catalina from the mainland in exceptional elegance and high style. From 1924 to her retirement in 1975, she ferried over 2.4 million people to and from Avalon Bay on Catalina Island. Now you can add one of a small quantity of original adult cork life vests that were stored on this historic vessel to your collection. Great for display in a home or office collection, charter office, restaurant, or an excellent gift for a retired seaman or California history buff, these rare SS Catalina life vests are new and original with cotton tie straps with some minor storage wear. Many bear the official United States Coast Guard 'APPROVED' stamps dating back to 1963. Don't delay, because these rare collectible vests are available only in extremely limited supply.
