The socks are woven with silver-coated nylon - a natural antimicrobial and are designed to eliminate foot odor, inhibit foot bacteria and fungi and transfer heat away from the foot (the hotter the feet get, the better the socks perform). X-Static® is permanent (not chemically treated) and washing actually enhances the anti-microbial and therapeutic performance because water releases more silver ions, that’s why it works so well on perspiring feet!
