Vallotton Sub Hilt Folder
Designed by legendary knifemaker Butch Vallotton. This folder features an ambidextrous thumb stud that both opens the blade and doubles as a stop pin keeping the blade from rotating open beyond the locked position. Like Italian-style, heavy-stock folders, the Sub-Hilt bears an international flavor with a modified coffin-shaped handle of polished black with tongue-and-groove fitted stainless bolsters. The powdered steel (CPM-S30V) used for the modified Tanto-shaped blade is hollow-ground at the cutting edge with a convex-grind at the tip. Blade Measures 3¾" Overall 8½". Weighs .39 lbs.
