U.S. MODULAR SLEEP SYSTEM

Product Review (submitted on October 3, 2015):

While I haven't purchased this yet, I have used it in the field. Six years at Fort Drum, NY, with air temps down to -35*. During warm weather, I just used the bivvy bag and my woobie. The great thing about this system is that you can add or remove pieces to suit the expected weather.

Biggest con I can think of is the weight for the full system, if you plan on doing any extended backpacking. I am working up to do the Appalachian Trail, and right now this is going to be my GO-TO system, which can be modified as the weather changes. I can forward the heavier layers to say Vermont before I hit the White Mountains,

For a prepper, looking for a good SHTF sleep system, this is it.
